Chrome: Google’s new web-browser

Perang web browser semakin ramai! Menyusul browser yang sudah eksis, seperti Internet Explorer (Microsoft), Firefox (Mozilla) dan Opera — Google rencananya akan meluncurkan browser bikinannya sendiri yang diberi nama Chrome. Kalau sesuai berita di internet, mustinya browser ini bisa di download mulai hari ini (2-Sept-2008) secara cuma-cuma.. alias gratis. Tapi kok saya browsing2 masih belum ketemu yah.. sutra laah!

Untuk versi awal, browser ini baru bisa di instal di komputer ber-OS Windows. Versi yg untuk Linux dan Apple Macintosh akan menyusul segera.

Google membuat browser ini dengan mengusung konsep rich, interactive applications (RIA) yang artinya, dengan satu aplikasi web browser tapi sanggup dipakai untuk mengerjakan beberapa pekerjaan sekaligus seperti browsing, chatting, email, blogging, online-shopping, membaca berita, dan lain2.

Error in WordPress: can’t edit widget!

Today, I found quite a strange error in WordPress: I can’t edit the widget in my blog! As you might be familiar with the picture on the left; we can put any additional widget (such as a link-of-article or an image) by editing the whatever-written in the ‘Text’ box.

Problem is when I click the ‘Edit’ link; instead of the box is opened / spanned.. the ‘Text’ box is suddenly gone, .. puff, as if I never add the ‘Text’ widget in the first place.

So, then I consult with Mbah Google, and I found this link. It appears that, the error is particularly happened with IE browser, especially when you’re editting the ‘Text’ box. So, the solution is simple .. change the browser into Firefox.

*Well, dude .. you (my colleague) might be wonder as in what reason I use IE, instead of Firefox. Yeah, I love the ‘tab functional’ thingy in Firefox .. but, I don’t know why: the Firefox browser installed on my PC (version 3.0.1) is unstable*

So, now I can edit the widget normally, as I used to do. For you my ‘loyal’ visitor .. you might notice a slight change in my blog, that is.. Another Me @Friendster located on the right-corner.
